EASTERN Communications yesterday said it has subs to sales force automation project to enhance its system to serve its expanding client base.

The company, in a statement, said the subscription to Salesforce.com On-Demand Customer Relationship Management applications from IP-Converge Data Center, Inc. was a part of it aggressive strategy to increase its revenues to P5 billion this year.

Salesforce.com will be used primarily by Eastern's sales and customer service departments.

 Edwin Domingo, marketing and business development head of the company, said Salesforce.com would empower Eastern Communications to monitor and manage it sales processes more effectively.

Eastern Communications has an ongoing backhaul project in Tagaytay catering to the industrial parks and ecozones in Cavite, Tagaytay, Laguna and Batangas.

The company said the on-demand application would help support its credit and collection facilities, product management, as well as finance and audit departments. - Roderick T. Dela Cruz
