Windows 95/98

1. Go to Start. Click Settings then Control Panel.



2. On the Control Panel window, double click on the Network icon.


3. If TCP/IP is already installed with the correct LAN card on the Network Dialog Box components section, go to Step 6. Otherwise, click on "Add" under the Configuration tab.



4. On the following screen, select "Protocol". Click on "Add".



5. In the Select Network Protocol Dialog Box, click on "Microsoft" on the left scroll window to select the manufacturer, and "TCP/IP" on the right panel. Click on the "OK" button.



6. Back to the Network Dialog Box. Click on the "TCP/IP" choice that reflects the type of the LAN card installed on the computer, and select "Properties".



7. Select the "DNS Configuration" tab. Input the IP addresses of the Domain Name Servers as follows: Enter three addresses in the "dotted quad" box to the left of the "ADD" button, one at a time and press "Add" after each.

Then the three addresses have been entered and appear in the box below the entry field, accept the results by selecting the "OK" button at the bottom.



8. Enter the default gateway address provided by Eastern Telecom under the Gateway tab. Once this is done, click on "Add". Click on "OK".



9. Enter the static IP address provided by Eastern Telecom under the IP Address tab. Once this is done, click on "Add". Click on "OK".



10. Click "OK" when you see the Network Dialog Box.

11. Click "OK" when you are prompted to start your computer.

12. Restart and you can now start surfing!
